What You Missed This Week on FTW Foodies

The best of Fort Worth Foodies FB Group curated for you weekly

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Foodies!

First off, you normally see my email on Fridays, but I had a minor family emergency last week, which pushed our newsletter out a few days. Sorry about that!

It’s Trina here, the author of the newsletter each week, here to guide to all things delicious in Fort Worth and highlights from the Fort Worth Eats community. This week I had the absolute pleasure of grabbing lunch with Connie, the amazing founder of Fort Worth Eats. We swapped stories, brainstormed new ideas, and I left feeling so inspired about how we can make this newsletter even more valuable for you. Stay tuned—there are some exciting things on the horizon!

In today’s edition, you’ll get the scoop on Tom Cruise’s surprise BBQ run (yes, really), a local food truck that’s drawing lines down the block, and the ultimate pizza debate that had over 200 foodies weighing in. (read below in 👀 Popular This Week section)

Plus, I have to share some tough news: Fuego Burger needs our support after the owner was injured in a recent incident. Let’s rally together and show what this community is all about.

🦄 Hot Restaurant: Paris Baguette posted here and here oh and here too.

😢 Restaurant closing: After three years on Camp Bowie, The Fitzgerald—chef Ben Merritt’s award-winning steak and seafood spot—will close its doors for good on June 7, with Merritt stepping away from the restaurant industry to spend more time with family

🍗 Nostalgic moment: The community shared some beautiful memories around the icon iconic Fort Worth venue sign. Timothy said, “I remember when it was one of the go to places in all of Fort Worth! Back in the East Lancaster days”. Read the stories here.

👨‍🍳 Chef Spotlight: Graze Craze’s Charcuterie Queen

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on the heart and creative force behind Graze Craze Fort Worth—Donnie Bedore’s wife (though she’s far too humble to brag herself!). She owns not one, but two Graze Craze locations, and she’s built a reputation for making every customer feel special, whether you’re celebrating something big or just want to treat yourself to a gorgeous spread.

Graze Craze is all about those jaw-dropping charcuterie boards that turn any gathering into an event. Locals can’t stop raving about the Fort Worth location’s beautiful, delicious boards and top-notch service. Monika W. says, “We have used the Fort Worth location of Graze Craze and always been very pleased. Great service, beautiful and delicious charcuterie boards.” Whether you need catering, gifting, or just want to impress someone special, she’s always ready to help.
