Hey Fort Worth Foodies!

Hope you’re hungry, because this week’s newsletter is packed with local flavor and foodie finds! We’re talking prime rib nights at Go Go Gumbo, a coffee shop crawl that’s taken over the group, and a chef spotlight on Dayne Weaver-the pitmaster whose barbecue journey proves dreams (and briskets) are built low and slow. Plus, we’ve rounded up the hottest new breakfast spot, a treasure map for goat meat lovers, and a wave of nostalgia for the legendary Pink Poodle. Looking for something to do? Don’t miss Main Street Fest, the Mother’s Day Market, and more can’t-miss events around town. Whether you’re planning a foodie adventure or just want to see what’s trending, there’s something here for every appetite. Let’s dig in!

👨‍🍳 Chef Spotlight

Dayne Weaver

👨‍🍳 Chef Spotlight: Dayne Weaver of Dayne’s Craft Barbecue

Dayne Weaver’s story is pure Texas grit-he started smoking brisket in his front yard, hustling delivery jobs, and chasing a barbecue dream with his wife Ashley. At one point, they risked it all (even facing homelessness) to build Dayne’s Craft Barbecue. Ashley secretly took out a loan for a better smoker, and that leap of faith paid off: now Dayne’s is a local favorite with a loyal following and a spot on Texas Monthly’s “must-watch” list. If you want barbecue served with heart and perseverance, Dayne’s is the place.
