Dayne Weaver & the Dayne’s Craft Barbecue Crew

Dayne Weaver & the Dayne’s Craft Barbecue Crew

There’s been a lot of buzz in the group this week about Dayne’s Craft Barbecue in Aledo, and for good reason—Dayne Weaver and his team just landed the #7 spot on Texas Monthly’s list of Best BBQ in Texas! That’s a huge deal, especially when you consider there are over 2,200 BBQ joints in the state.

If you’re not familiar, Dayne’s started as a backyard pop-up and has grown into a true community favorite, known for their Texas Trinity Plate, the O.G. Burger, and that infamous chocolate lasagna. Bob M. summed it up perfectly: “Such an amazing accomplishment by some of the best people on earth!!” The love from the group is real—Brent E. called it “absolutely amazing BBQ,” and Jason Y. chimed in, “Dayne’s Craft Barbecue well deserved!!! #1 in my book.”

Folks are already planning their next visits (and bracing for bigger crowds). Catherine S. joked,

“Ugh!!! Now it’s going to be impossible to fight the crowds. Excited for them!”

Catherine S.

“The OG burger is amazing 🤤.”

Cassie T.

If you’re curious what makes Dayne’s so special, it’s the combo of friendly faces, serious smoke, and a menu that keeps both BBQ purists and adventurous eaters happy. Whether you’re a brisket devotee or just want to see what all the fuss is about, Dayne’s is a spot the Fort Worth Foodies community is proud to cheer on.

Fred’s Texas Cafe, Fuego Burger, JD’s Hamburgers, Kincaid’s, and Charley’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers were the most-loved burger picks, with members raving about juicy patties, classic vibes, and killer onion rings. For Mexican, Casa de Lina, Fiesta, and El Paseo got shout-outs, but the real gems were the family-owned spots and “hole-in-the-wall” favorites.
